Francis and Andrea have been involved in ministry for many years but married and formally entered the mission field together in 2013. Francis, originally from the UK, but he and Andrea have primarily served in Andrea’s home country of Guatemala, where they currently also help serve with Pure Joy Missions. In 2024, the Frizelles formally joined Exago, with Francis focusing on developing new resources for Kingdom workers and training others in personal support raising.

The Frizelles are a bilingual family with four children—Charlie, JJ, Liam, and Lily—who bring plenty of adventure to their lives. As a family, they enjoy playing games like Carcassonne and 7 Wonders, watching Marvel movies, and spending time swimming or gaming together.

Francis plays acoustic guitar on the worship team at their church, while Andrea helps with the children’s ministry. Their passion for serving Kingdom workers reflects their mission to empower and equip others to fulfill their God-given callings.

Karissa Garst

Executive, personal, and Administrative Assistant

Karissa is an Iowa native, growing up with an incredible family who loves the Lord deeply. They were always involved in ministry at varying levels and made it a whole family event, times which she will always cherish. She attended a Christian University in Minnesota
where she grew more in her love for the Lord
as an individual and has continued serving in ministry.

She met her now husband, Eric, in college and they have been married since 2011. Together, they have three beautiful children: Ethan, Kaelyn and Kamden. They also have two dogs, one cat, one snake, and
many chickens! Based in Arizona, she has served with a Mother’s ministry at her home church since 2017 and has grown to know the Lord on such a deeper and more unconditional level as she has committed her life as a wife and a mother. Showing these mothers love and grace in a season that can be very draining emotionally and spiritually has become such a gift to her.

She loves working with the incredible Exago team and is passionate about what we’re doing to grow the Kingdom for the Lord! Jesus is at the center of all we do! In her free time, she loves coffee, hiking, making all things sourdough and doing crafts with the kids!

After falling ill in 2021, she returned home to begin a deep process of healing in her body - and her faith - challenges that brought about new life and relationship, including her marriage to Brandon in August, 2022.

Marissa has continued to dedicate her livelihood to serving God faithfully in spite of her physical shortcomings, and is immensely grateful for the opportunities she has been given to use her gifts for His glory. In her spare time, she enjoys creating music as a singer/ songwriter, decorating her home, working out, and snuggling with her cats, Clementine and Nori.
